Free! and Ghibli Crossover

I thought really hard of how the characters in Free! could be portrayed in my fav Ghibli movies.


Here are my reasons for choosing the characters in the specified ghibli movies:-

(1988) My neighbour Totoro - Miho always has an umbrella and Goro got a new part time job dressing up as Totoro for kids birthday parities.

(1997) Princess Mononoke - Souske and Ashitaka both have injured arm (shoulder) .. i am the worst ... oh and Rin is wild like san.

(1995)  Whisper of the Heart - Rei reads books and is into fairytales, nagisa shows rei into his world. (similar to how seiji met shizuku and showed her his world). They are dorks in love.

(2002) The cat returns - I like that fact that Rei writes a story about his two favourite Senpai. Haru shares the same name as the main character, Haru.

(2004) Howls Moving Castle - Did you hear of the wizard that kisses pretty girls hearts away?

(2008) Ponyo - Momo, the young boy who gathers Beatles, meets a tiny Nitori in a bucket; who is cu(201rious about the human world. 

(2011) From Up on Poppy Hill - I really like this pairing personally and I think they need to get close.
